Heads or Tales

Did you know that the Paris Metro was built on top of a dragon’s den? Its treasures were pillaged and its lair destroyed but it remains below the ground and aims its fury at the trains which pass through. This is at least what one small boy learns on his trip on the Metro but could it just be his imagination running overtime –with a little help from an impecunious violin player?

This is so European (and I don’t mean that in a bad way) in its storytelling, the way the tale pans out and indeed the art, animation and its direction. No surprise then, that it was created by five students at the Georges Méliès School in Orly.

They are Pierre Bottai, Foehn Gallet, Kévin Herbrich, Adrien Kédochim and Gauthier Troalen and we suspect they may have something of a future in this field!
