Don't Go!

There are things that you cannot see even with your eyes wide open and sometimes these are a cat’s best friends.  So goes the tagline on this great short animated film by Anima Istanbul.  I have to say that I found the first track of music a little irritating but when it kicked in to Don’t Go by Yazoo, I was hooked.

The animation is very cleverly made with the cat’s escapades chasing its little pink friend very well, almost seamlessly done and there is a cheeky sense of humor at work here too. 

I wasn’t altogether convinced though whether the little pink alien (whose real name is in fact Pinky so I have discovered) was in fact a friend of the cat or its intended dinner!
