A few weeks ago the official artwork for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London was unveiled.  A number of people were a little let down by what they saw as the desultory offerings of some of the UK’s leading artists.  However, whether you loved or loathed the artwork presented to the world, a number of people thought that something was missing – animation!
