In Case I Don't Die - A Greek Whisper to Europe

Anyone with a heart – or for that matter a brain – is aghast at what has happened to Greece over the last few years.  I can’t think of another recent example of where the people of an entire nation have been punished for something which was effectively not their fault.

It is rare, however, that we in the rest of Europe get the opportunity to hear what young Greek people feel about the whole situation.  So it was wonderful to watch this short ‘talking head’ featuring Danny Giannakopoulou and directed by Nicolas Androulakis. It’s poetic, elegiac while optimistic and beautifully composed. Watch it and understand a generation.

Fight or Flight or Whatever

You can always ponder, perhaps even fantasize what you might do if the house was broken in to and you were there, on your own, face to face with masked and armed intruders. This happened to Rob Norman and he refreshingly points out right at the beginning asks poignantly what you do when, at the core of who you are, is a coward? Created by Andrew Norton and Chris Wardle, this talking head tells you exactly what Rob did.

How to be Irish

In the spirit of the most popular and most celebrated Irish holiday - St. Patrick's Day – Kamil Krolak and his Kamera Krew (sorry, couldn’t resist adding the extra ks) went out to one of the main streets in Galway to ask people "When are they at their most Irish...?".

Here are the results – and they may not all  be quite what you expected!  However, a friendlier bunch of people you will not find.  I especially like the middle aged man - next question! - reminded me of one or two of my friends!
