Luzhou, China: Stunning Aerial Tour of a Modern Yangtze City 泸州
At the junction of the Yangtze and Tuo rivers, stands the
city of Luzhou. Home to over 4 million
people, here we are given an aerial tour, courtesy of Lalin Photography. As the geographic junction of the four
provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou and Chongqing, Luzhou was an important
port location in ancient China and remains so today. In our aerial tour, we are shown the port and
airport area and the main city, with its Blade Runner style building
illuminations as well as the surrounding rocky countryside where tea is still
grown using age-old techniques.
Although you may now think you know the city after watching
this incredible video, it may well whet your appetite to visit Luzhou - it does look like there are plenty of places
to visit and things to do in this thriving location! Looking down on it gives us an idea of its
immensity, population and the sheer hard work that has driven Luzhou from its
ancient origins to its modern-day renaissance.
