Another day, another element. Well, actually, not quite. Over in Russia a team of scientists (some of whom are from the US) have filled a gap in the table of periodic elements by creating a new one - and boy is it super heavy. However, at the moment they are stuck for a name so they have latinised its number in the table (117) and come up with the staggeringly boring and almost unpronouncable Ununseptium.
