Living History: 3D Without 3D


The 1st year Bachelor Computer graphics students at Bellecour had to create VFX (special effects) shots in the manner of many historical documentaries that can be seen currently on our screens.

Without videos, journalists have increasingly tended to animate pictures to illustrate their points.

The photograph seems to take life and when some items in the frame are highlighted by a fake camera movement, revealing a depth and an extra dimension. 3D without 3D somehow...
