Where was I? Yes, welcome to Kuriositas. It is a young site and one which I started up in March 2009 as an outlet for my need (possibly compulsion) to write about the stuff I think is worth pointing out to others and saying hey, look at that. It is eclectic, then, which reflects my own tastes – and I hope yours too. When asked (rarely, to be completely honest) what the site is about I usually reply art, science and all the interesting bits in-between. Oh - and I don't do this full-time. I have a job in the real world [stifled sob]. Don't feel too sorry for me though - I love it really.
I would welcome contributions from others, but please do get an idea what Kuriositas is about before you email me! Obviously, a link to your article about how to care for your pet hamster isn’t going to cut Kuriositas’ particular mustard.
However, a link to your article about your pet robot hamster who paints for a hobby might!
So, I look forward to hearing from you! More details about how to go about contacting me are below.
All the best

Suggestions
If you are an artist and want to promote you work, have an interesting website or link that you would like to suggest to us, would like to write for Kuriositas or simply make contact and chew the cud (but not the cow), then drop me a line.My email address is taliesyn30@aol.com. Please put Kuriositas somewhere in the subject so it doesn't go straight to spam!
I have to point out here, of course, that although I am happy to look at anything you suggest, that isn’t an automatic promise that it will hit the website’s front page. In order to make your life easier when considering what to send please keep in mind that your submission must:
- be something you feel would be appropriate for Kuriositas.
- be something we haven’t already featured (tip: use the Search box above). As it is a young site, you may well be on to a winner there.
- contain a link (or links) to high quality Creative Commons pictures readily available for us to use.
- not be pornographic. Kuriositas is grown up – but not adult, if you see what I mean.
- not violate copyright or laws. Everyone is sometime drawn to breaking the law, but you've heard the song.
Thanks!
