Honda has come up with a very interesting and unusual way of presenting their products to the public. Instead of the usual car ads what you get when you watch their their idents for Channel 4 documentaries is something quite different. Honda show you how some of their customers actually use their Hondas - and it may not be what you are expecting at all!
They say that England is a country full of eccentrics and from the micro-documantaries that make up the Honda idents you would probably have to agree. Take Philippa (pictured above) for example. It is unusual enough to rear and breed alpacas deep in the country outside of Oxford. Yet Philippa has come up with a novel and unusual way to feed her animals. She uses her Honda ATV to take the food out to her flock. It must be quite a sight! In fact, let's take a closer look at her right now. Take a look at the video below!
If you would like to see more about Philippa's story then Honda have set up an online hub where you can learn more about her unusual use of her Honda ATV. Plus you can share other stories or - even better - your own. If you use your Honda in a way that you think would surprise and entertain people, then why not submit your own story on the hub? There is something in it for you as well!
Later on in the year Honda are looking to include at least one new story for their Channel 4 documentary idents. It could well be you! So, if you use your Honda in an innovative and interesting way head over to the hub by using the links here. Even if you do not have a story to share you may well be interested in the other tales you will read and see on the hub - they are quite fascinating and out of the ordinary!
The winner of the competition will be chosen by W+K who are leading this Honda campaign. The Channel 4 documentaries are always on subjects that people find fascinating and they are watched by millions of people. You could well be the star of the new mini-documentary idents that Honda will use later on in the year. Who knows what they may lead to in the future?
