If you are a fan of online games then you will like this one, firstly because it is compulsive and secondly because each time you play you can enter a competition run by Park Inn Hotels to win a week in one of their hotels – in Manchester, Berlin or Djerba. You will also get an iPad thrown in for good measure.

As long as you are at least 18 and eligible under the other terms and conditions you will be able to play. It is simple – deceptively so perhaps. You have to play against the program in order to match up four rows, horizontal, vertical or diagonal, scoring points as you play. Even if you lose you can still enter the draw, so it’s win-win really. It is easy to play but you will need your wits about you to win against the program! Even if you do not get 4 in a row you can still enter the competition.

I was scratching my chin a little wondering which place I would go to if I won and eventually, even though I have been there before, I think it would have to be Berlin. I was lucky enough, as a teenager, to be there when the Berlin Wall fell and the excitement of that event stayed in my mind forever afterwards.

Unification followed shortly thereafter but I have not been in the position to be able to revisit this wonderful city. To return and see how it has developed in the intervening years, while staying at the Park Inn Hotel there would be fantastic. I’m packing my bags right now!
