March 22 is designated World Water Day and over at the The Big Picture - possibly (no probably, no definitely) the best photoblog on the internet, they have a huge gallery of pictures reflecting (geddit?) water. It is there in all its beauty and majesty but there are also a good many pictures that show what we are doing to devastate supplies across the globe. Above is a once floating restaurant in the Yangtze River in China. There is a severe drought in the region - and one that isn't going to end soon.
